Established on 10 June 2015, Kendriya Vidyalaya Udupi is functioning in a temporary accommodation provided by the sponsoring agency at DIET Campus, Pragathi Nagar Manipal. The Vidyalaya has classes from I to X with an enrolment of 405. The Vidyalaya provides opportunities to its students to participate in a variety of activities like Games, Sports and other activities organized locally and at Inter Kendriya Vidyalaya level by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. These activities include Mathematics Olympiad, National Level Essay writing, Painting Competitions, Educational Tours, Scouts and Guides, SPC, ACP – Awakened Citizen Programme, AEP – Adolescence Education Programme, Inspire Award etc.
The Vidyalaya believes in imparting knowledge/values and nurturing the talent, enthusiasm and creativity of its students for seeking excellence through high-quality educational endeavour.
